The 2020 season has been challenging for each of us. One takeaway from this year has been the power of community. In light of this, we challenge you to rally as a collective team, and as a member of our larger endurance sports community, to support the IRONAID 140.6 initiative during the month of September.
The IRONAID 140.6 initiative is a two part effort to back IRONMAN Foundation’s IRONAID™ COVID-19 Support Fund. The fund provides supportive funding to 120 health-related programs around the world. Programs include medical assistance; support of children, youth, and veterans; impoverished and other vulnerable populations; feeding the hungry; general emergency relief; and research into SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19.
As an extra effort to rally with our community we're extending this challenge to your friends and family, too!
THE CHALLENGE
Part 1: Personally dedicate any number of miles of movement during the month of September in the spirit of IRONAID. Set a goal for 140.6 total miles, but any amount qualifies for challenge completion!
Part 2 (optional): Contribute to our IRONAID 140.6 Team Fundraiser.
