Workout of the week - Variable 800's

This one gets right to the point! While it's not a long swim overall, the 3x800 with variable pacing are excellent to build endurance, lock in effort control and improve recovery-under-stress. The key is keeping the recovery between intervals at the prescribed length and really feeling the intensity changes within each 800. Before anyone asks, you do not stop during the 800's - just change effort each 200 within the 800. Enjoy!!
